Home / About Us

Edge Cycling Technologies began to realize their dream in the early spring of 2017, in a Physical Therapy clinic in Dayton, OH. Our mission is simple: provide effective pain relief and comfortable cycling experiences for our customers.

We've assembled a team of experts to bring you the best possible saddle.

Shane PageShane Page PT, DPT, SCS
President and CEO

Shane is a licensed Physical Therapist as well as a board certified sports specialist with 7 years experience treating orthopedic and sports injuries. It was in 2007 when Shane initially thought of the idea for the PhysioSaddle, sitting in an anatomy lecture while in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at the University of Dayton.  Shane "sat" on this idea until he crossed paths with Evan Price and John Massengale in February 2017.

Shane is an avid Cincinnati Reds and Ohio State Buckeyes fan. In his spare time, you can find Shane at some local pond, throwing a fishing line in the water while he tries to make up stories of the size of the fish he caught. Soon, he plans to spend hundreds of hours riding pain free on the PhysioSaddle! He and his beautiful wife, Makenzie, reside in Xenia, OH with their two amazing children - Parker and Finnlee.

Evan is a Physical Therapist living on the West Coast in Vancouver, WA.  He lived in Dayton, Ohio during his doctoral education where he met Shane Page, and Edge Cycling was born.  Evan is an avid Cat 3 road cyclist and triathlete.  He has spent a lot of time in the saddle over the years and understands the struggles of the elite racer and recreational rider when trying to find a comfortable yet light and competitive option.  As a physical therapist Evan is developing into the Vancouver and Portland’s regional specialist for the endurance sport populations.  You can see him racing triathlons from coast to coast this season and road racing around the Pacific Northwest.

Nico Price

Nico Price
Chief Engineer

In April of 2017, Nico Price became a member of the Edge Cycling Technologies team. As a bike commuter and avid enthusiast of the cycling industry, familiarization with the purpose and goals of the company came quickly.

Nico is the president of Rose-Hulman’s Human Powered Vehicle Team, a competitive collegiate engineering club that designs, manufactures, and races its own faired recumbent bikes each year. His team won 1st place overall at an ASME-sponsored event at Tennessee Tech University in 2017, and then traveled to South Australia to compete in the UniSA Australia HPV Super Series the next week. He is currently in his final year of undergraduate education as a mechanical engineer, and plans to graduate in May.

In his spare time, Nico can be found rock climbing, skiing, cycling, running, hiking, or planning his next project. As long as the man is moving his body or brain, he is happy.

We also need to thank the following companies for their continued help and support. Without their guidance and assistance, Edge Cycling Technologies would not be where we are today!
